DESCRIPTION:This event will take place IN PERSON at the Leslie Science & Nature Center \nWe are a proud partner of this fundraiser to raise money for the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center’s Access for All initiatives\, which reduce barriers to STEAM and nature-based education for families and classrooms across Southeast Michigan and beyond. \nYou can expect to… \n\nEnjoy a seated meal with curated drinks under an outdoor tent.\nDinner will be catered by Zingerman’s Catering\, along with dessert from Sweet Heather Anne.\nDrinks will be presented by Bløm Meadworks\, Mothfire Brewing Company and Spencer.\nMeet the wildlife co-workers (up close encounter with live animals!) as you walk the Nature Center’s pollinator gardens.\nFeed a Monarch Butterfly in the butterfly tent!\nFind exciting opportunities in the silent auction featuring gift cards and exclusive experiences from an extensive group of local businesses.\n\nHow can a moment of discovery change a person’s life? The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center witnesses children expand their worlds every day. Last year\, they shared inspirational STEAM and nature-based experiences with about 300\,000 learners through field trips\, outreach programs in schools\, and welcoming visitors to their sites. They believe that all children deserve to understand and connect to the expansive world around them.
